The new R-Design premium styling concept has arrived for the Volvo
C30, S40, V50, XC60 and XC90. An exclusive factory-fitted appearance
concept, the R-Design includes model-specific design features that
will draw attention and interest and enhance the premium ownership
experience.
While inspired by the Volvo high-performance R-line, "R"
stands for refinement and represents this exclusive styling approach
that gives customers a way to personalize their Volvo. It's somewhat
like driving a Volvo with an exclamation point, although no performance
enhancements are included in the R-Design models.
R-Design
Arrives Straight From The Factory
Not an accessory or even a stand-alone option, this exciting new R-Design
concept actually creates a whole new Volvo model variant. The collection
of special R-Design features will be available on the Volvo C30, S40,V50
with The T5 engine, XC90 with the 3.2 engine plus the XC60 T6 engine.
R-Design Exterior Excitement
R-Design exterior features include:
- Choice of 10 colors
- R-Design badge in satin matte-finish grille
- Color-coordinated bumpers and lower side moldings
- Rear or roof spoiler
- Satin matte-finish door mirror caps
- Five-spoke aluminum wheels
- Choice of 17-in. or 18-in. wheels on C30, S40 and V50 R-Design
- 20-in. wheels standard on XC60 R-Design T6
- 19-in. wheels standard on XC90 R-Design 3.2
R-Design Interior Enhancements
R-Design interior features include:
- R-Design upholstery; C30, S40, V50, XC60 and XC90 have contrasting
seats in Off-Black with the seat cushion and backrest in contrasting
cream-colored leather
- R-Design logo embossed on the seatback
- Contrasting stitching on the seats
- Leather-trimmed steering wheel with R-Design logo
- R-inspired R-Design Watch Dial instrument cluster
- Aluminum sport pedals
- Specially designed aluminum center console and door inlays
- Gear selector with aluminum inlay
